Who are we?
HOME is a private, Garrison-approved organization. This allows us the privilege to offer many services that help enrich, encourage, and support families in their home education journey. We work in close partnership with different facilities and organizations on-post and off to provide enriching activities, field trips, social gatherings for homeschooling children.
HOME is the only private homeschool organization approved by the garrison to operate on Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks. This status, along with the help of our wonderful volunteering families, allows HOME the privilege to meet in our own facility on-post, advertise, have a budget & fundraise, and offer many different kinds of activities and services to local homeschooling families that might not be available otherwise.
What do we offer?
It's up to you! HOME is an all-volunteer organization, and we believe everyone has something to offer! From personal experience to a beloved hobby or a knowledge in different fields and areas of expertise, we form a community of parents that will enrich the homeschooling experience of all ages and skill-levels.
Because of this, we ask our members to volunteer in at least one activity per semester. This can take the form of helping coordinate an activity, project, field trip, or party. For those with a fun hobby or skill, members can also volunteer to teach a class. The sky is the limit!
By pooling together resources, we are able to form a large network of families and offer various activities and classes throughout the year, such as:

Why should I join?
To belong to a homeschool community! We strive to not just make connections but build lasting relationships while here in Bavaria and around the world! Our goal is to fill the social needs of our children and parents. We have various levels of opportunities to connect to meet each family's needs!

HOME is a garrison-recognized and approved organization; this allows us to occupy a building on Tower Barracks, advertise, fundraise, and use facilities located on both Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks.
How do I join?
It's easy! To get started,
1) By-laws & Policies

2) Register for Membership
If you agree to the above terms, you can submit your online registration HERE or by visiting http://TinyURL.com/GrafHomeForm.
3) Pay Membership Dues
Once your registration is submitted, you can submit the membership dues via PayPal HERE or at the button below or by visiting http://PayPal.me/GrafHome. Payment is due upon approval of your application. Any delays in payment may hinder your membership status and/or require you to resubmit your application.
The fee schedule is as follows:
$30/family per school year, or $15/family per semester (Fall or Spring).
Scholarships or discounted fee schedules are available to those who are unable to meet the fee schedule.
Please contact us if you cannot cover the amount for whatever reason.
We seek to include all homeschooling families in our military community!
4) Submit a Waiver
Download, print, and sign the HOME Waiver of Liability and bring it to your first field trip, event or parent meeting. Limited copies will be available at each event. Note: Any "unofficial" events hosted outside of the organization are open to all families in and out of the organization and are assumed to be "at your own risk" events.
As an aside, if you choose to bring homemade treats to an activity you are hosting, the Garrison has asked us to have members complete the Food Handler's Certification Course each year.
